No dark patterns and no data resale: here is exactly what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
What we collect
When you contact us (through the website form, WhatsApp, email, or phone) we receive what you send us: your name, contact details, and whatever you tell us about your project or enrollment.
The website itself collects standard technical data (pages visited, device type, approximate region) through privacy-respecting analytics, used only to understand what content helps visitors.
How we use it
To reply to you, scope your project, process your enrollment, and provide the service you asked for. If you join a course waitlist, we contact you about cohort dates and seats.
We may send occasional updates about your project or program. We do not run spam lists, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone.
Client and student data
Data inside Cedar systems (POS sales, member lists, menus, CRM records) belongs to the client. You can export it at any time, and if you stop working with us, you leave with your full history.
Student records (enrollment, progress, and certificates) are kept for verification purposes and shared with no one without your consent.
Storage and security
Information is stored on access-controlled systems. Cedar products are local-first by design: your operational data lives on your own devices first and syncs to the cloud encrypted in transit.
We keep contact records only as long as there is a business reason to hold them. Ask us to delete your data and we will, unless a legal obligation requires keeping it.
Third parties
We use a small set of service providers to operate (hosting, analytics, messaging). They process data on our behalf and have no right to use it for their own purposes.
Links to WhatsApp, Instagram, and LinkedIn take you to those platforms, which have their own privacy policies.
Your rights & contact
